It is with a sad heart that I am announcing that The Social Place is going out of business.

We had good times for 3 years. But we never were able to really grow the business large enough. It was fun while it lasted.

What does this mean for you?

1. If you have a monthly membership you will notice that you were not billed at all during the month of October. Your membership has been terminated and you will no longer be billed.

2. The singles parties that were scheduled in October have been canceled. You can still go those locations and have fun without us, for free – and believe me, many people will still show up because they don’t always read their email.

3. The website will be left on until November 1, 2008. So now is the time for you to exchange emails addresses, and phone numbers.

Good luck to all of you singles out there. I wish you the best as you continue your search for “your special someone”.
